Electrolysis
Electrolysis is the only medically approved form of permanent hair removal, It is a course of treatment that permanently removes hair growth when performed by skilled and experienced practitioner. Electrolysis has been recognised as a safe, reliable method of treating all skin and hair types. Many new treatments for hair reduction or non-permanent hair removal have emerged over the years, for those who seek complete and permanent hair removal on any part of the body, regardless of skin tone or hair colour, there remains only one method that is approved by the British Medical Association – electrolysis.
Waxing
Waxing is one of Waltons speciality services, we use warm cream wax which is we feel the most effective way of hair removal using wax. The area to be waxed is cleansed using a pre-wax cleanser, a layer of warm wax is applied to the area of skin to be waxed and then a wax strip is placed on top of the wax and gently pressed on and then very gently whipped off, leaving the skin, wax and hair free. We then apply an after wax lotion that gently soothes and moisturises the area that has been waxed. The more waxing you have done is known to weaken the hairs leaving them more sparse and less painful to have waxed in the future.
